GLOVE STANDARDS

EN388:2016+A1:2018 - Mechanical Hazards
Protection against mechanical hazards in respect of physical and mechanical stress caused by abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture. The table below indicates the glove’s resistance to:
4 = Abrasion
X = Blade Cut* (coup)
4 = Tear
2 = Puncture
E = Straight Blade Cut (EN ISO 13997)
NOTES:
Where 1 indicates the lowest performance. X that the test was not performed or not possible. A 0 rating indicates that during the test level 1 was not reached.
*Gloves should not be used when working with serrated blades

EN511:2006 - Resistance to the cold
Specifies a glove’s performance in protection against the cold. This cold can be linked to weather conditions or to industrial activity.
X = Convective Cold (Performance Index 0-4)
1 = Contact cold (Performance Index 0-4)
X = Water penetration (1 = Pass/0 = Fail)

Who this glove was designed for
Operatives who work outside in cold and wet outdoor conditions in the harsh winter months.
Why we developed this glove
We identified that there were no gloves on the market that combined high cut resistance, thermal properties and also maintained high levels of dexterity for wearers. This led to wearers compromising on protection (i.e. wearing a thinner low cut resistant glove) in favour of wearing a warmer glove with no effect on functionality so that they could continue their daily work. In compromising on protection in order to keep hands warm, clearly significantly increases the risk of injury to hands.
The solution
The Rayza RX567 is a winner for winter. A fleece liner is fully stitched into an ultra-lightweight high (index E) cut resistant liner in answer to common frustrations with thermal gloves where the liner comes out as you doff the gloves. Despite the fleece liner, this glove offers greater flexibility thanks to the ultra-lightweight cut resistant liner not adding extra bulk. The blue nitrile ensures water repellence across the whole hand with a further textured nitrile coating for enhanced grip.
