GLOVE STANDARDS
EN388:2016+A1:2018 - Mechanical Hazards
Protection against mechanical hazards in respect of physical and mechanical stress caused by abrasion, blade cut, tear and puncture. The table below indicates the glove’s resistance to:
4 = Abrasion
X = Blade Cut* (coup)
4 = Tear
2 = Puncture
F = Straight Blade Cut (EN ISO 13997)
P = Impact Resistance
NOTES:
Where 1 indicates the lowest performance. X that the test was not performed or not possible. A 0 rating indicates that during the test level 1 was not reached.
*Gloves should not be used when working with serrated blades
ANSI/ISEA 138:2019 - Impact Protection
Testing of knuckles as well as finger protection for impact.

Why we developed this glove
Whilst working with companies in the upstream sector of the oil and gas industry we uncovered a strong need for a glove that was:

The solution
To develop a glove with all of the above qualities took true innovation. The Rayza RX590 finally met all the above requirements and more – this is not a standard waterproof glove!
