GLOVE STORY
Who this sleeve was designed for
Advanced arm protection for wearers that require an ultra-lightweight, securely fitted and comfortable lower arm protection, which has a high cut resistance.
Why we developed this sleeve
At the time of development, we identified that the standard arm protection widely available was not well designed. The sleeves slide down from the top and ride up from the bottom. These poorly fitting sleeves therefore feel uncomfortable and once they start to move they offer very little reliable protection.
The solution
The design of the Rayza RX522 was key to its success, but using a lighweight 18-guage liner we achieved excellent flexibility, this was also index E cut resistance. We added a thumb loop which stopped it riding up and a velcro strap at the top to avoid it slipping down.
Feedback on this sleeve
“The gauntlet that the operative was wearing at the time saved him from cutting his arm whilst working above the ceiling”
